When we walk in the embrace of nature, we often overlook the rocks lying on the ground. They are not only part of the earth, but also the record of the earth's history. From volcanic eruptions hundreds of millions of years ago to slow erosion, each rock has a unique story to tell.
The formation of rocks varies greatly. Some are igneous rocks cooled by molten magma, such as basalt and granite. Some are sedimentary rocks, such as sandstone and limestone, formed by the gradual compaction of sediments in water; Some are metamorphic rocks formed by metamorphism under high temperature and pressure, such as gneiss and SLATE. These rocks not only show the wonders of nature, but also provide important clues for earth science research.
As a rock lover, I often marvel at these artworks of nature. Every collection and observation is an opportunity to talk to the Earth. I hope that by sharing my exploration and research, I can arouse more people's attention and love for rocks. Let's enjoy these silent witnesses together, enter their world, and enjoy the infinite charm of nature.
