Pterosaurs are ancient flying reptiles that belong to the reptile group, but are not the same creatures as dinosaurs. Their existence time covers the Earth's history of the late Triassic to the Cretaceous period, different sizes, a wide variety of species, is an important representative of the air overlords of that era. The emergence of pterosaurs has led to a deeper understanding of the evolution of flying creatures, especially in terms of adaptation and the exploitation of new niches.

Pterosaurs have a very unique bone structure, the main feature being their large wings. The wings are supported by elongated forelimbs, while the membranous wingspan is formed from skin connected to muscle. According to different types of pterosaurs, the size of their wings is also different, and some can reach a wingspan of more than ten meters, making its ability to soar in the air is quite powerful. Compared to modern birds, pterosaurs flew in a more primitive way, using a combination of large weight and strong wings to achieve flight.

Their diet is equally varied, ranging from carnivorous species that hunt fish and small land animals to plant-eating species that feed on fruits and leaves. This dietary diversity allowed pterosaurs to better adapt to different ecological environments, ensuring their survival in a thriving paleontological world.

The fossil record of pterosaurs is rich, providing researchers with valuable information. Through the analysis of fossils, scientists can infer the habits of pterosaurs, behavior patterns, and relationships with other organisms. In addition, the emergence of pterosaurs has led to an in-depth discussion of how organisms adapted to flying life, bringing humans closer to the ancient creatures.
