Ladybugs, also known as ladybugs or beneficial insects, belong to the beetle family and are important organisms in the ecosystem. They attract many nature lovers and scientific researchers with their bright colors and unique shapes. The main food source of ladybugs is aphids, so they are widely regarded as "guardians" in agriculture, able to effectively control pest populations.
Ladybug specimens are produced through professional collection and handling techniques. First, researchers capture ladybugs at the right time of year and in the right place to ensure diversity. Once captured, the ladybug is fixed and dried to preserve its shape and color. During the taxidermy process, the ladybugs are classified by species and affixed to informative cards, recording when, where and how they were captured.
Ladybug specimens are not only of great value in research and education, but also provide an opportunity for nature lovers to observe and learn. By observing these exquisite specimens, students and the public are able to better understand the biological characteristics of ladybugs and their important role in the ecosystem, thereby enhancing the awareness of conservation of the natural environment.
