My journey began by chance. On the recommendation of a friend, I took part in a bamboo weaving workshop. I was fascinated by the experience of weaving bamboo into shape. With the intertwining of each bamboo strip and the carving of every detail, I felt the charm of hand work. The process of preparation is not only the art of creating beauty, but also the process of dialogue with bamboo, a natural material.
In this process, I gradually realized that bamboo weaving is not only a skill, but also a cultural inheritance. Each piece of work contains the collision of the wisdom of ancient skills and modern creativity. I began to explore different weaving techniques, from traditional bamboo baskets and bamboo lamps to modern bamboo ornaments, the shapes of bamboo in my hands are endless.
