Hi

In the meantime, here's a picture of what we'll be sculpting in the next video, as well as some explanation of the larger project that this small sculpture fits into.

Thus, this project will culminate in the completion of a life-size sculpture designed by Michelangelo, passed on to us through the drawings of Tintoretto and Nardini. There may be others, but these are the ones I know of. I intend to make a larger than life size sculpture for this design, about 240 cm high. This 20cm model is going to be the first study I'm going to do.

The next step will be to make a 40cm tall model. More detailed and desirable compositions are fairly stable. Then make a scale model. This scale model will be three times the size of the 40cm tall model, which is half the size of the final model. The scale model will be around 120 cm tall. The scale model will then be scaled up to twice the original size, scaled up, and that's how I reached the final version of the final 240 cm tall.

It will all be in different clays and molds that will create all these sculptural castings. My goal is to put the whole process from start to finish, including all the molds and models, on Patreon for you to follow along and learn. We're going to cover a lot of ground that we haven't covered yet, and a reclining figure is the main figure that many people are asking for.
